Four more obstetricians expand options for mothers-to-be choosing private maternity care
April 08, 2026
Ramsay Private at Joondalup Health Campus (Ramsay Private) will soon welcome four new obstetricians commencing private practice to offer more choices for mothers-to-be in the northern suburbs.
New members to the private maternity team now accepting referrals include Dr Gregg Eloundou, Dr Mathias Epee and Dr Mahmoud Zidan. Obstetrician Dr Jade Hollingworth is anticipated to commence practice later this year. All are accredited to provide private gynaecology and obstetric services and two consult as fertility specialists which will enable streamlined care for their patients from pre-conception through to delivery of their baby and beyond.
The new obstetricians will work in a group practice, Joondalup Obstetrics and Gynaecology Group, with long-time Ramsay Private obstetricians Dr Mike Kamara and Dr Arvind Menon, to provide high-quality patient centred care, continuity of care 24 hours seven days per week, access to multidisciplinary care for complex cases, and a diverse range of sub-specialty expertise.
Ramsay Private General Manager Steve Cohen Jones said: “At Ramsay Private, the three pillars of excellence for maternity care are safety, choice and value, and we strive for continuous improvement in each. Safety, for mum and baby, must always be our first priority, and our experienced obstetricians are supported by a large workforce of employed anaesthetists, paediatricians and midwives.
“Having a baby is a deeply personal journey for expectant couples and for those who choose obstetric led care it’s essential that they feel a strong connection with their clinician, which is why choice is so important,” said Mr Cohen-Jones.
“We are thrilled to be welcoming these additional obstetricians to the wonderful team at Ramsay Private as part of our commitment to providing maternity services for the local community in Joondalup and surrounding areas,” said Mr Cohen-Jones.
“It is also essential that private maternity costs are reasonable for patients and deliver real value. At Ramsay Private, patients benefit from no out-of-pocket costs for consultant anaesthetic and paediatric services as part of their private maternity journey, saving them a significant expense compared to other private birthing facilities.
“Our service also now includes on demand a la carte dining services for patients and their partners, who are able to stay in our double rooms,” he said.
Ramsay Private is proud to offer on-site services for all couples from pre-conception through to pregnancy, delivery and beyond, including private fertility, pathology and radiology services, theatres, 24-hour anaesthetic cover, four private birth suites, a neonatal unit capable of caring for babies born from 32 weeks gestation, well-appointed post-natal rooms and a range of private obstetricians, gynaecologists and fertility specialists to choose from.
